The Good:
This truck made it to Fort Walton Beach, FL and back going 75 mph on the highway, 14 mpg with no problems last year. I used it as a daily driver when I was home. Always starts right up with a few pumps on the gas pedal.

The Bad:
Due to it sitting and my wife locking the steering wheel after she last ran it, you can no longer turn the key... I worked on it for about an hour when i was home but didn't have time to continue with it. I think its an easy fix, maybe rocking the truck or something if you have 2 people with you could maybe release some tension off the wheel somehow. IDK...Front and driver rear side windows need replaced (@ $250). Passenger side window motor needs replaced (@ $45). Has NO carpet inside, only steel tub. Motor runs great but could use some TLC. The exhaust should be replaced, has rusted straight pipes on it right now. Has rust in usual places in door seals and tub. Could use a paint job and a weatherstripping job. Rear window is slightly grooved from worn weatherstripping. Gas gauge is stuck and I think speedo might go, but he's been hangin in there.

Additional Info:
Sold this thing to a young man after originally posted and he asked to do the sell in a few payments. I tried to help him out and agreed to it. After 2 months he came back with it and said he doesn't have the money because of a law suit filed on him and taxes. :bang:

I'd listed it on TTORA with no real interest. Sold it on eBay, but then the buyer showed up asking if I'd allow him to make payments (:censor:WTF??)!!!

This truck is just sitting and not getting used. If you don't like the price feel free to make me an offer.

I'll accept trades for various things, so feel free to offer those as well.

This truck was going to be restored but in the past year I've taken 2 scheduled vacations that were supposed to be 30 days long... First one lasted 5 days and second 3 days at home until my company called and said I was needed back at work...:bang:

Feel free to email me at redturbo_24@yahoo.com with any questions.

My wife just emailed me today and said she thinks i had the old ignition keys... She's gonna try the other keys out to see if they unlock the steering wheel today. I'll post up the results.

No one needs this thing for hunting or 4wheeeling in deep mud?

I'll do trades... I think parting it out wouldn't be half bad either for $$ if you have the time to do it. No sure though...

Wife called me today. Said she tried the other key. Worked fine.

Truck starts and runs. It's an '83 so she ain't perfect by any means. Wife said the battery is dead from sitting. With a jump, will start up fine.

I guess I'll eBay it next week if no real interest. If thinking about it feel free to make an offer. Thanks.
