LOL! After they opened that one in Camp Verde, I used to hit it up pretty often. Though I had to drive a whole two miles to get there.

Actually, now my Starbucks runs are every OTHER day. Since I'm competing in a weight loss challenge at work, I gotta cut back on the Americanos.

But true, I do make a lil more cash down here, that's for sure, and have some pretty sweet benes. :grinpimp:

LOL!

Shyyyyyyyyte.... I could stand to lose a few. My regular jeans look painted-on. My baggy jeans are now my regular jeans. My booty jeans won't even fit past my thighs anymore, and thus, are gathering dust in the back of my closet.

I've lost 4lbs over the course of the past 4 weeks. w00t! I hope it'll be 10 by the end of the full 8 weeks. However, my hopes aren't too high, especially after that homemade BBQ I just had for lunch.:o

did someone say BBQ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Sorry, none left. :frown:

We had boneless BBQ pork ribs earlier in the week and I had 2-3 fat ones leftover, plus a small hunk of tri-tip. Wednesday, I chucked em in the crockpot with some apple cider vinegar, honey (I didn't have any molassas), and some BBQ sauce and simmered it all day. Yummo!

Since I'm in this weight loss thing, I didn't eat any that night. I made a turkey burger instead. Alas, there was still a cup of it left today. So it was my duty to dispose of it properly. :D Though, served on a whole wheat english muffin instead of a fluffy potato roll isn't quite right.

Wow, that was an unnecessarily long story about my BBQ. :o I'm gonna go have some shrimp cocktail now.

Starbucks in Camp Verde?

Now, that is Yuppification in rocket time :D

the Subway was the big news in 2000 before I moved (as all the development by I-17 had effectively killed off the local business in town, including the Branding Iron )

AND it has a drive-thru! You'd probably not even recognize the 260 exit now. In addition to the Starbucks, there is also a Quizno's and a Cold Stone Creamery.

At least the World's Largest Kokopelli is still there. :D
