Going to go look at them now, guy says the reddish one his father bought new and has been barn stored, we shall see.

So the guy is asking 3200 for both the fj40s. One is a parts rig and he doesn't want to separate them. The red one is actually pretty complete and he says he has the parts that are missing from the pictures. Looks like there is some bondo on the rear sill but it is pretty complete and has low amount of rust. I'm to lazy to post all the pics here but you can check my photobucket album.

I'd be interested in the blue one for the tub, and both hardtops if anyone with good negotiation skills wants to deal with the guy and knock some coin off the top. I'd be willing to fork out $1000 for it since it's gonna cost at least $1000 to get it to me.

The red one looks to possibly have some rot in the inner wheel wells/quarters where the sheet metal is bent up and bolted to the original steel.

The guy claimed that the red one did and that he has been driving around the property, but he couldn't get it to start when I was there. I did look and see that there was no fuel in the float bowl so I don't know if he just ran out of fuel or what.

Shot him an email earlier, says he wants $3200 for the red one.
