Hi yes I have a 85 toy p/u with 5.29's and welded rear end locked front end but steers like crap when locked so I wanna put in a twin stick so I have 2 low to help my problem out.
Who has the best setup outhere and does a person have to pull the transfer case to do this or can you do it all inside? Thanks

You need to remove the pin between the two shift forks so they can move independently, otherwise, you will have two shifters, but won't be able to disengage the front while in low range.

You can also use a top shift t-case shift forkl and a forward shifting t-case shift fork and have 2 stock shifters, but you have to do a bit of welding and still have to remove the pin between the forks.

I've heard good things about Marlin's and have personally owned FRORF's and loved it.
