The 2 starter batteries are simple wired parallell, it seems without a shottky diode circuit or similar. The generator serves both batteries parallell as they are wired.
So I understood the twin batt/charge systen.
The power runs out after a period of 10 days inmobilisation.
One month ago a installed two brand new batteries, the batteries before where deep exhausted.
For future I want to prevent this.
1) May I disconnect the hole system, both mass cabels for a long term period? Does it cause problems to the board electronics (ECU, et.c.)? Has the system a supporting memobackup battery or solid memory?
2) Trickle charge : both batteries connected to a single ctec charger during winter inmobilization?
Someones seeing problems due to a coming up inbalance to the batteries during charge (why does this not happen during normal generator operation...?!?.), danger of desintegration of one battery.
Others did it without problems. (German bushtaxy forum infos)
If anyone, experienced in car electrics/Toyota , knows what best to do for longterm intervals of usage I would be glad about informations.
