I generally like mine to sit level, but after riding on my bumpstops with all these beno-mobile parts in the back I can appreciate having a little extra umph in the rear springs.

I like it. you can prove them all wrong and wear them shocks out and maybe he will put you in some of those pros next time.

I have a heavy load in the rear now... so it won't be any heavier back there.
I also like the level look. So I'll prolly re-index the bars and buy a dif drop bracket.

This lift had already settled up front. So at lunch I ran it up on the lift and re-indexed the front brackets, assuming I had originally installed the DS one tooth off. I was right. We got it perfectly level.... but the dang front axle shafts vibrated terribly at highway speed... So came back and backed it down a bit, still vibrating... and here's the stance:

So... I have two options: either buy the dif drop bracket and prolly the A-Arms.... OR: just pull the rear springs and take a cut off the top of them... Not sure which way to go. I really don't want a tall lift, so I'm thinking the latter... hmm

Do they offer a shorter spring, or do they make a spacer that would let use the stock sptings yo lift the rear to match the front?

Yes... They do... But I was advised to get the heavy lift and bars, and I knew better. I truly knew better... but I did, and I hate it. I've never.
Ever.
Ever.
Seen a level lift, and I knew the heavy springs would do this. kinda sick thinking about it. It's my fault for not listening to myself. So I'll deal with it, cause I knew.

I bet you could sell the heavies to one of the Cottonlanders, or in the hundy section to sumbody adding a bumper or sumfin

I'm hoping my rears for my 3rd gen don't jack it way up either... we will see on saturday.

I have a bumper! LOL. I got one on both ends, a winch and sliders and even heavy gear in the back... I suppose if anyone needs heavies... I do. But as Slee had stated, and I've learned to agree, he sells a dif drop bracket with all his kits now. I learn by Fire, so I'll buy a dif drop bracket at full price since I didn't buy the lift kit from him.

Well... I have the IronMan bars installed too.
The pic in front of the buses, it drove fine and dandy. So maybe I'll lower it to the point it drives good again. Then get an alignment.
I know I need the dif drop bracket. I also want the upper A-Arms, just because. But it'll have to be a Christmas present to my Cruiser... both of them will.
So, for now, I'll run stinkbug.

And for the record. I've had the truck on the rack twice now. To install the lift, and then to re-clock the front torsion bar brackets. Once you wrap your head around the T-bars and the components of them... it's cake. literally. There is nothing hard about the front end of this series rig. #ROH TAHDE
I'll help who ever wants help with theirs.... I got the 30mm socket, cordless impact and floor jack, let's do work!

I need to reindex so I'm in

I'm ready. When? Where? It needs 22mm as well, which I got in the 1/2" variety to hit with the impact, BLAT BLAT.

I was able to stop the highway vibration by lowering the front to within it's tolerances, which @BamaHeel told me was 21.5" and that's dead on... I was at 22".
So for now, I'm good with 21.5" up front and 23" in the rear.

Another project I think I'm going to do maybe this afternoon, is a crude version of my Cattywampus shelf as seen below:

Catty shelf had marine grade carpet and a hinge on one side... I'm skipping those two features and just going raw wood and no hinges.
I'm going to be Cruiser-camping for the first time in nearly 6 years next weekend... so I'll need a flat section for the air mattress. So, we'll see how it turns out...

Not so fast. The Home Depots didn't have half sheets of the thick stuff so I walked. I'm not buying a full sheet.
Also after measuring, the Hunnerd is substantially more shallow from back of seats the tailgate. I'm going to have to cut some off of the board. I had a gap in Catty

@jynx, might wanna see if popcorn can be reheated, cause The Lowes had that plywood! Picked up the materials at lunch. GAME AWN!
I'll post crude pics when I'm done, but I'm already thinking I'm gonna end up covering it. I just won't have time to before OTMT... gonna juss throw a blanket over the raw wood.

I like the rubber mat idea, but last time I price it, it was more expensive than marine carpet!

Also... I bought the legs which are 1"x12", so when did they become true 12?! Because the ones at Home Depot are 11" and so were Cattywampus'. But these are trult taller... Oh well....
