Looks like the story of modified block posts is real.

t25 Turbos need an adaptor plate.

Quick response to emails and if you're flexible this should work for you.

I bought a manifold, haven't put it on yet. I was wondering if anyone had a completed, proven install yet.... other than this pic of the sellers truck... Reviews?

Post pictures PLZ

any pictures of what is really being sold at 350$ ..
Edited .
Sent e-mail to address, Got this Reply:

"manifold is sold for $350 and Turbo is sold separately for $600 for new garrett with proper AR ratio for 3B diesel. shipping is extra based on your address and the weight."

""I will only except money order or direct deposit. no paypal. This manifold is a T3 flanged and its superior or to the original toyota manifold cause you could install practiclly any type or model turbo on it and its low profile, meaning your turbo assembely will sit 2" lower than original toyota manifold which allows you to installed up right intercooler on top of the engine. the lower turbo also keeps the head away from top of hood.

Regards""

And some pictures i attached . Plus looking at the pix , the intercooler hoses are missing clamps and the pipe coming off the elbow that go's ?? is still the same not running picture. Turbo picture is of waste gate side without the exhaust collector or the waste gate actuator.

In this day and age of internet buying etc. HAS anyone dealt with this gent ?
I did get in touch with AXT Turbo Sales, but the cost of there kit was more than the truck..

I am only offering turbo and manifold only and I said this to everyone a thousand times. if you want a kit (hose, clamp, pipe etc etc etc please add another $1000 to cost of turbo and manifold and i will make you a custom-made one based on your FJ40/FJ60 spec.

Thanks..

There was a Canuk Gent who said he had bought your Manifold , and was ~~~ ?

If he chimes back in , Send it to me and i will play.

Canuk 2 Canuk we can work together. Then we will see ..

I don't configure / understand the Intercooler you have , or the pressure bleed pipe thats unhooked.

There have been other topics on Mud where someone that bought this setup has installed it. You might find it outside of the classifieds section. I recall that the buyer was happy with the setup.

From what I recall the manifold is a new cast iron unit that's original equipment for an Izuzu diesel engine. The seller has a novel way of adapting this manifold to the 3B. You are not buying a manifold specifically designed for a 3B engine but it appears to work OK.

Also, be sure to get the actual turbo specs and part numbers of any turbo the seller is offering. Don't take his word for it. Do your own research to be sure that the turbo is appropriate for a 3B. The seller is on record elsewhere in this forum advocating the use of turbos that are WAY too big for a 3B. Not all T3s are created equal. Some will work well on the 3B some will suck.

Hey VT, I think you might be talking about me, I'm in N Van.. I bought one of the manifolds last year, but haven't gotten around to installing it yet. I am going to put a mercedes t3 airesearch garrett on it. The manifold seems to match up with my spare exhaust gasket okay, there may be some minor overlap, but I've never seen a stock manifold that is a perfect fit to the head ports, hole for hole. It can always be ground out if it bothers you... ;-)
I may do some milling of the manifold stud flanges to avoid replacing the studs, but then again...
I think the manifold is a good deal, I don't regret getting it to work with at all. And FJn00b is easy to deal with, and ships fast.

HEY !!!!
2 cool , Well im on the rock , and i have a place in WV plus ..

AND THIS is kewl.

CHECK PM..

i have 5 different model turbo chargers with AR ratio of 42 to 86 so depends on who and what they wanted for , I could match it to their setting and no one ever had a problem.but again, this is internet and any LC owner is a master in their own little world right .

Thank you for clarifying. A .86 A/R on a 3B would be awesome! So much power up around 8K RPMs.

Sir , 8K - RPM is way over the limit.

Turbo / supercharger OR added VJ is only to increase volumetric efficiency / density..

But i do know that for and A~A Intercooler to work , needs air flow.

Mr RufusTheDufus,, Yes i got that part, Just making sure that the ones who read that are not in the trade, SO there is no misunderstanding ..

The Intercooler if it is air to air as most cars are , then it is mounted like a second rad and in front of the Coolant to air rad (Heat Exchanger) , Another style of cooler is called an aftercooler , both cool the Air after it has come from the turbo charge output , but this one is now Air to coolant type , reversal of what the normal Radiator ,, These are found on Industrial engines / large rigs 18 wheelers etc.

Industrial / diesel generators are stationary units and the air flow is driven by fans , no driving down the road into the air.

HTH's some.

I am currently installing this manifold, with my own-sourced Volvo T3 Turbo. The manifold appears well made, the slotted top holes need slight further machining/grinding to work but nothing major at all.

I am satisfied with the manifold and the price. The seller had good communication and has offered some tips and did warn me that I may have to do some slight further grinding...

No comment on the turbos for sale though, I didn't buy one...

Here is the build thread...
