Looking for some help. I have a 2004 Tundra 4x4 Double Cab. I just installed a basic 2.5" lift with strut spacers in the front and blocks with new shocks in the rear. I have stock 265/65/17 now and looking to put on 285/70/17 on the stock wheels. I have about an inch clearance between the tires and upper control arms after the lift install. I looked into wheel spacers. I've seen mixed reviews on them. Some say work great and no problems. And, some say they stress the wheel bearings, ball joints etc... I'd like to keep the stock wheels and powdercoat them black. Are the spacers a bad idea? Any suggestions?

spacers can be bad. if you do decide to go with a spacer go with a bolt on style as apposed the a shim style, they have a tendency to crush and chip out i have seen this personal working in the tire and wheel biz

will 275/70 r18 tires with aftermarket rims with a +35 offset fit with no clearance issues?
