Trade Tuffy Stereo security console grey out of a FJ60 Trade for stock FJ60/62 console

So I am looking to trade my Tuffy Console for a stock grey console.
Ideally one that has not been cutup or altered and with the lid in decent shape (no fading).
so really looking for a straight trade on this.
FJ60 or FJ62 console.


the Tuffy is the Stereo model and comes with 1 key.
This was mounted in a 1986 FJ60 using the stock mounts. Worked well and comes with everything you need except the nuts and bolts.


Could use a good cleaning
The marks on the arm rest are from my grill sitting on it for a month. it will reshape I am sure.

Send me a pic While that is right, they mount in the exact same holes. I would just have to cover the hols for the heater.

Didn't I sell you a stock console a few months ago? And ask if you wanted to trade for the tuffy? Doesn't matter I just got one a few weeks ago just wondering.

Could be but at the time I was not sure.

Now the build plan has changed and I am going stock or stock ish.

Also the one you sold me was great but due to a garage accident the lid is damaged.

Was there something about the Tuffy console you didn't like or was it just too tall??

Yes i find it to industrial for my FJ60. Meaning it is to rough looking. Looks right at home in a 40, but in a more refined (ya i know joke right) 60 it is to much.

I am restoring mine to as original as possible. keeping the interior as clean and stock as I can except the radio..

Everything else has or will be redone.


Dash, carpet, seats, cleaned headliner, etc. When i am done it will look real nice and the tuffy just does not match. So I am going back to a stock console.
