I would really like to install a set of tube sliders on my 200 (rather than step sliders). I have removed my OEM running boards and really like them gone (easier entry/exit and looks much better without). I have strongly considered the Slee step sliders but feel they would be in the way much like the factory running boards.

I contacted Slee to see if I could get this done and need two more confirmed orders (in addition to mine) along with somebody out there to lend their cruiser for test fitting purposes in order to get this off the ground (I am nowhere near Colorado). Don't have specific pricing info.

Any takers? Here's a link to the 100 version:

Why the change of heart? I was starting to consider.

Slee didn't seem very excited about the project, and they needed a truck to test fit in CO... Would be very slick though.

As far as being a family vehicle, My wife and kids have no problems with no step. Christo did mention that narrower tube sliders would offer poor side-impact protection which is a consideration for rocks and trees as well as parking lots and minor collisions.

Everyone here seems to be very happy with their step sliders and they appear to be somewhat narrower than the factory steps I removed... can anyone confirm that?

So the 2013 is so different that the 200 series sliders already made won't fit?

No, it's just that no one has requested tube sliders rather than step sliders for the 200. Never been done...

Ordered my step sliders from Slee. Should be on by Wed. They look strong in the install pics I saw in the manual.

The issue with changing the design is that if we angle the tube up and remove the step plate, I need to make sure the tube clears the body and the doors when open. For that we need a truck. Honestly, we have had very little demand for tube sliders for the 200. If we get a truck to test fit, then we can look into it.

Thought I would updated with the installed pictures. Slee is also using these on their website.

These were amazing off road at Barnwell State Offroad park in Texas. Saved my rockers on both sides. Best money spent if going off road. The are scrapped up on the bottom and little on side due to some serious off roading. Plan to touch up using POR to prevent rust. Can't say enought about how well these are made!
