I'm in the process of moving accessories from my old 2013 to my new 2015. I've got things like ARB compressor with in the cab switch and lockers, ham antenna cable, and LRA pump switch/ tank level indicator all with wires that have to go through the fire wall. As I am "in there" pulling wires and I have a lot of other stuff apart, I'd like to pull wire/cable for external lighting. The challenge is that I don't know what I want to add as far as any specifics. I know I'll add ditch lights and likely some Stedi type lights on the front bumper and maybe some roof rack lights. I like hard wired switches and I don't think I want anything that is wireless (my Warn winch controller would allow me to add two additional accessories and control them from the winch controller). Is it worth while or even make sense to pull a multi-wire cable through the fire wall now, given I don't really know what I'll be adding? Once I put my compressor and remote winch controller in the engine bay, getting to the fire wall grommets is a royal PITA.

This is where I really appreciated a SwitchPros. Only had to pull a small harness through the firewall grommet for the interior control panel. Everything else is wired within the engine bay.

I really dislike adding tons of aftermarket wiring for breakers, distro, etc., as each could be an opportunity for reliability issues and its another area of winning for SwitchPros as it's all integrated.

I'm with you that I don't like primarily wireless solutions for hard mounted components. BT as a supplemental control is nice.

I’m reading up on SwitchPros. I think I just need to plan out in a little more detail what my build end state really looks like.

Maybe for now, I’ll just pull a few strings or thin cable through that I can use later to pull more wires.
