Hi. The rear heat in my 94 blows cold air only. Looks like I've found where the fittings come out of the firewall (see attached pics). The previous owner apparently disconnected the rear heater core from the system. I'm assuming there was a leak somewhere. My plan is to reconnect the system and then figure out the problem and possible fixes. However i cant figure out where to connect the lines. Can someone please explain where each goes? Im not concerned with keeping the factory setup, just with getting the rear heat working again. Any advice and information would be greatly appreciated.

Well, when he bypassed the rear heater, he left out the metal "t" and "k" fitting that allows water to flow to the rear heater circuit.

Most probably, he bypassed it because attaching the 12mm hose is a PITA.

I don't have pictures of the metal pieces, but here are both rear heater locations on my rig as I was changing them out.

Be advised that not just any metal "t" or "k" will do; the rear heater outlets are 12mm and the others are 13mm

Thanks for the reply and the pics. I'm trying to figure out where to tap into the system to get the water flowing back to that heater core. Is the passenger side leading to the hose where the heat modular is? How about the drivers side outlet?

Thanks to those fine engineers in Toyota, who can do no wrong, there are no pictures in any manual that I know of that shows this.

A "t" comes off the passenger side, and the "k" the driver's side.

Because there are no diagrams, your best bet is to find another series 80 with intact rear heater circuit and look at it yourself.

Here is my process, I cleaned out both front an rear heater this way. And a good time to remove the hell spawned hose clamps.
