I'm familiar with several bumpers: ARB, TJM, SLEE. I'm assuming there are positives and negatives of each, but just wondering if there is any clear consensus as to which one is the best? Deer collisions are of prime importance. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you are looking for rock crawling clearance go with a slee. Honestly great for what he designed it for..

For not so good powder coating and construction get a TJM.

For a great anti deer bumper that still offers better angles than OEM and a winch optiong get a ARB. I got one post deer collision on a stock bumper at low speed. The stock bumper is a flimsy POS.

= ARB, I bought both of mine from Cruiser Outfitters.

x2 on the ARB for deer purpose, why i got mine.

Deer Collision Protection - That's why I'm getting an ARB. I'm sick and tired of those bastards running me off the road at 2am. "I accelerate for wildlife" if it's under 200lbs!

Bought It

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on an ARB front bumper. With that purchase behind me, I've started looking for a rear bumper. Any suggestions? Does ARB make one for the 80 (I've seen one for the 100)? I like the looks of the slee and the iron pig. Just wondering if anyone sells a basic bumper with the option of adding the tire carrier later.

Thanks

check out 4x4labs also

Kaymar makes a good rear bumper. It has the capability of having dual swingouts for a tire and a fuel can. It also has tail lights that you can hook up, I think they are pretty durable and built tough.

TJM bumpers, from what I have read, rust out pretty quick, although they are cheaper.

Slee has a good bumper and you will pay $$$.

Ironically, the rear bumper will cost more than the front and for impact protection you would think the front would be the most expensive. It's the first thing most people will see on your truck and gives it good profile, oh well, I guess you could get rear ended?

In either case brace your check book for the purchase.
