hi guys just like to know what tool did you use to trun up the fuel on your 2H???

Nat

no special tool required. loosen the lock nut (12mm, I think), turn up fuel, tighten lock nut. about a 30 second procedure.
cheers,
J

oh ok i must be thinking about a diferant one:(

have you go at pic of the one your ment to turn up for more fuel??

Here you go-not a great pic but all I could find.
on the bottom, in red, you see the fuel turn up encircled in red. this is what you turn in small increments. Also, it is a good idea to mark the original position. It might still be locked by a wire, if no one ever messed with it.
This is on the injection pump of a manual HJ60.
cheers,
J

I made a tool but you can get a set of long noses pliers in two of the holes and turn the pliers with a crescent if you're in a pinch.

The fuel adjuster is the screw that stops the edic-arm in the rear position..(the one in tapages pic. Impossible to see what you mean in the first pic.). There is a lever that says stop right? (wich you can pull to stop the engine) That is connected to the arm... and that arm stops on the adjustingscrew.. If you want more fuel you turn it outwards...so the arm stops closer to the fire-wall...
It has a circular lock-nut that can be loosened with a small hammer and driver, just stick the driver in a hole on the face and knock it loose..

To my knowledge this is the same on all 2H's .So if you don't recognice it you need to take another look.;p The other adjusting screws should be left alone...they only set max revs and stuff like that..

HJ owners i know usually don't mess with the fuel-screw unless they have added a turbo to their engine.. I don't think there will be a huge difference in performance.. but don't take MY word for it.

Edit: Oh i guess you have a turbo..

oh yes i have a turbo....i knew what one it was as i tryed to turn it up befor using the same method you are taking about but i could not get the little poofter move...anyway after i turboed it i took it in and got a deisel mechanic to run it on dyno and turn it up for me so they did all that and when i went to pick it up they said they turned it 3/4 of a turn and it was still running lean and after seeing Tapage has turn his up 3 complete turns or somthing like that i thought that one more turn on my one would not hurt:hillbilly:

I have the HAC in my 2H .. so to clarify, turn the hole HAC outwards to get more fuel. But again .. I don't recomend that without a pyro gauge.
