Looking for help here. I have recently started experiencing issues with the turnover on my 1999 LC. After not starting it for a week it wouldn't turnover fully. It took my pressing on the gas to get it to start. I am also having problems with the engine sputtering after first starting it. Once I drive a little while that seems to go away. The sputtering is only there when in gear and not moving or starting from a stop.

I've got 180,000 miles on it. Recently had 2nd timing belt, water pump services. Replaced nearly every hose and heater core. I had all spark plugs and ignition coils replaced last year with less than 12k miles on those. Any suggestions?

Just got em from O'Riely's not sure. No, I don't have techstream...what is that?

Weak spark, if you used parts store brand plug wires they are cheap and will not last, it happens under load because well, you need strong spark, especially under load for a smooth running engine.

Techstream is a OBD scanner/software so you can see live engine data in real time.

Replace your plug wires. Magnacore are a great brand that will last you forever.

I replaced my plugs 20k miles ago with OEM denso and coil packs. Had same issues and turned out having a broken plug and torn coil on cylinder #8, go figure? I replaced and runs like new! I suggest check all coils and plugs....

Thanks guys for the help. Getting it into my mechanic today for a look. I haven't gotten a check engine light yet like I did when the coils started going out 6 months ago.
