What’s the way to check those? Does it require removing intake manifold?

Monitor the fuel trims. See if the numbers change when adding propane (or brake clean) around the seals.

Just noticed today that trucks running more smoothly after the PCV and plug change, maybe I needed the ECU to reset. But, cold starts in morning result in real rough idle and stumbling for the first 1/2mile of driving then seems to run fine.

ECU resets on it's own. It will relearn the new spark plugs.
PCV won't have any effect on driveablitity unless it was stuck open.

I think the PCV grommet was loose prior to changing because there was oil spray around the area. Do you think that doesn’t have an effect? It wasn’t stuck open. Sounded fine when I took it off and shook it.
