Can anyone tell me if this wooden (?) trim piece is replaceable or is it an integrated part of the door card? 2013 LX570

It’s replaceable. Look on partsouq as a starting option. It could be $1200 or so.

I know I can buy a new door card for mega bucks but was hoping just the long wood piece was a cheaper separate part.

I searched high and low, and could never find the wood trim as its own item.

I have 2014 LX.
What's the issue?
I had some ugly scratched up wooden pieces, and I ended up spending that whooping $8.99 from Amazon and just vinyl warped it.
cracked and delaminating from substrate underneath. I think I'll try super glue administered carefully through an insulin hypo

I’m pretty sure you can find just the wood piece. Also pretty sure it’s more than you want to spend.

I tried to super glue mine and it failed rather quickly. The ticket is contact cement and pressure while it dries. On other forums the pressure is a board or two propped on something solid. In this case, probably across the car from left to right.

Oh, I would pay a decent amount for it if I could find it. Thanks for the gluing tips!

Here are better pictures of my problem

Lexus told me it wasn’t available separately so I had a local upholstery friend redo both of my doors at those spots. Only the drivers had failed like yours but I wanted both doors to match. I removed them myself and provided just that section to him. I think I paid $150.

Even though Lexus doesn’t offer it, you might be able to purchase a more reasonably priced salvaged door card from car-part.com

Wow, that came out sweet! Thank you for sharing. I'm down in Tucson for the winter and there are tons of custom auto upholstery places here. Question for you...After removing the door card and disconnecting the wires, etc does that trim piece come off readily from the door card? I've been looking for pictures of the interior of the door card with no luck but some I have found give me just enough of a view to think that trim is held to the overall door card with about 4-8 screws? Door card removal should be relatively straight forward, probably a video of it here on Mud or other websites. Second question, hows the snow piling up in Montana?

It’s been a while, but I think there are 4 screws holding it on, with one of them being a little hard to get to if I remember. And then I think you still have to be carful removing it after that. You can tell they didn’t want it falling off. I might have cracked or broken a small tab on the first one I removed but it’s still plenty secure after re-installing.

Bit of snow here in S Central Montana, but we haven’t had a lot yet. Cold temps currently but looking forward to deep snow hopefully 😉
