The objective on this mild build was to keep it as a daily driver. It’s not a rock crawler or overlander.
This started as a 2011 Premium, one owner, dealer serviced model that got 22/mph on the highway.
The mods I did were with the goals to keep it as a daily driver with good road manners and 17-19mph.

F Sport grill (bolts right on/no mods)
Chrome delete (satin vinyl black wrap)
TRD PRO Wheels from a 2018 4Runner
265 70 17 BFG KO2’s (C Rated)
Multi Terrain Select
CRAWL Control

That's a great job for a daily driver and occasional camping trip, ski trip or trail!

GX looks good with the black on black. 40-50k a year is a lot. You’re going to have to keep your log of maintenance and repairs for us.

Your build is exactly what I have in mind for later this year when I make my purchase. Thanks for taking what is in my head and giving me a good visual representation of it. No lift? Looks nice at that height.

I don’t have a lift on the vehicle. It is the Premium model, so it does have the Height Control option, and it is set on high for the pic. The stock suspension rides very smooth and tight. When the time comes to replace the shocks, a mild lift might be in order.

Just did a short 500 mile trip on the expressway and got

almost 19 mpg doing between 70-75 mph. I filled up and divided the gallons vs actual miles and came up with 18.9.
How accurate is everyone’s MPG on the display screen?
