Transmission swap from a 92 to a 94 fj80

Hello everyone I’m new to this forum. I’ve been trying to look but I can’t seem to find my answer. I have a 94 land cruiser and the transmission went bad. But I have a transmission from a 92 but the shifter is different even thou the transmission look the same. My question is. Will it fit? Can I put the 92 transmission into my 94?

It's a different transmission mounted to a different motor. It might be possible but not as easy as just installing a different A442F.

What went bad with the trans in your truck? They are known to be nearly bulletproof and rarely completely fail.

Morning. Thx for the reply. Well I went off roading and hit a rock pretty hard and ATF started pouring from the bell housing. Change the transmission pump seal still same issue. So my thoughts are the transmission oil pump is gone. And a rebuild it’s to expensive so I thought since I have this other transmission i could just swap.

You can't, I can go ahead and tell you that. 80s in th states had 3 different transmissions over the years and they don't interchange.
