I was wondering if the shift points (rpm's) will differ when the transmission is cold (cold weather below 32°F). I notice a slightly higher rpm the first time through and then after that it decreases or shifts earlier.

Thanks
Steve

When the engine is cold the transmission does not use overdrive, even if you have the button depressed. In other words, while the engine is cold you have only three gears but once it warms up you have four. It's all there is to it...

Thanks for the reply. I had been searching trying to find similar problems and I finally found it searching on "shift" but I had already posted this.
Thanks,

Steve
