Got oil change and they said I have a significant transmission fluid leak. Odd cuz I have no stains on concrete driveway
And yes it’s a pic of a pic :)

Any ideas where to start looking?

that looks like the front differential. have your CV shafts been changed out recently?
Thanks for the reminder I remembered I had this issue after my cv got replaced with a “Japanese” aftermarket instead of a boot kit for torn boot. I know, you guys tell everyone so, don’t mess with aftermarket cv’s. I had a local Toyota mechanic replace the seal like twice too, second time no charge was after it kept dribbling ever so often. But it’s basically looked like that (slightly coated but no drip on my driveway since March 2023. This was photo from 2023. Been driving it since

My best guess is your dribbles are happening when you are cruising down the road and the diff is spinning / building pressure to push it out. It would be worth checking the level with your finger to see how much you have left in there.

Clean the area including the oil pan right above it to bone dry using degreaser or brake cleaner and drive it for 50 miles or so. Check again where the leak is coming from. AT fluid is watery while differential oil is thick and viscous.

Check the vent to make sure it's not clogged. that seal rides on the axle. sometimes they always leak on aftermarket CVs.
