Getting two diagnoses then it probable is bad.

Does the 03 LX470 vehicle's service history show transmission had been flush at the recommended interval?

I took a look at the history and truck was always serviced at a dealer in CT. Looks like, for whatever reason, the truck was driven a lot during the first year of ownership and the trans oil was changed at 29k at the end of 2004. From there, I do not see any trans service until mid 2013 at 90k.

There is a TSB (low speed shutter) out that had something to do with vent tube allowing moist in transmission. But I did not think the 03 was included, nor are your symptom's the same. Just wondering if 03 could have moisture issues as well. Hope someone with experience will drop in this thread.

Funny you mention moisture, the AAMCO guy did mention moisture. Not sure if he meant it in my specific case but did mention how moisture is not a friend of trans fluid, etc. The original owner of my truck did live in coastal CT.

What was the final bill?
Maybe you could post final invoice.

$4k.

Unfortunately, had to go back to AAMCO this morning. Tech didn't reconnect H-N-L linkage. Now, that's all taken care of. BTW, drove a couple of hundred miles over the weekend, truck's shifting real nice.
