Ha! hell noI've been bugged by a guy on MUD looking for 83/84 BJ42's if you're interested in a quick flip.![]()
Guess that will depend on the final price as well, the kit from the US and relocating the factory e-brake lever cable to this new piece as opposed to all the parts required to convert to the older style brake (which requires partial disassembly of the T-C, something I wasn't planning on doing).pretty sure the same can be said about those disk kits re: mixed reviews. I've never had issue with my old style drum parking brake, holds just fine. Not cheap to retrofit to a stock split case drum brake though. Ordering the 60 series version of what you linked might be easier, but still need to sort the cable/bracket/adjuster, so not entirely bolt on.
Are those DOT approved stones? And accepted during a VI? And do you need to carry extra ones in case you have difficulty in throwing it exactly under the tire as you are trying to park on a hill? If so, how many, 2, 3? I have to budget for that accordingly. In the end, a couple of largish stones behind two wheels is a lot faster and cheaper and gives you the benefit of not having a single point of failure, just sayin...![]()
