Transfer case capacity

Really studid question guys ....what is the capacity of the A343 transfer case and does it take 75/90 weight?

just under 2 quarts

I would recomend a synthetic here like Mibil one 75w-90, Redline and Amsoil are two alternatives, it is just two quarts so wont break the bank. this is a hard working 2 quarts of fluid.

your transfer case is the HF2AV

earlier trucks has the HF2A

the capacities for the FZJ's are in the archives, I would assume but not 100% sure that the FJ's are the same.

I fill up with 3gts front and 4 rear with Castrol for LSD
