We are having a mechanic emergency and maybe some of you need a good riddle to solve. our 1998 Toyota Landcrusier Prado 3.0 l turbo diesel and with automatic 4 speed transmission is leaking transfer box oil and can barely drive. The engine is running well. The engine oil and transmission is is good. when starting to drive we can drive at low speeds and the automatic transmission can also shift up to second or 3rd gear but if we need too much power something seems to stall and all power is gone. The car slows down again and if we go uphill it even rolls backwards (usually not possible with that transmission - unless super steep). Then we switch off the car and then we can drive again for a few minutes and then loose power again. The first time the problem happened when we were using a highway with 100kmH downhill, that worked well but then suddenly uphill we had this loss of power and couldnt continue. Until we restarted the car. We eventually got to a gas station and had the car towed to the next biggest city. Joao Pessoa in Brazil 🇧🇷 - What is our problem?
