How the heck do you remove the top driver side bolt above the throw out fork? I got the other 3 out but cant seem to get the last one. Oh and by the way the gear oil pours out on you when you remove those bolts.

Put a wrench on it and remove the fastener?

Step one of gearbox removal; Drain oils from gearboxes.

Thanks for the words of wisdom :flipoff2:

You are welcome. :princess:

Double-wrench the damn thing and get the bolt out.

It really is not that difficult.....

Box end of 17mm wrench is on the head of the fastener you want to remove. Take a 16mm wrench and lock the box end of it into the open end of the 17mm wrench to lengthen your leverage on the fastener. It should break free if you are not using garbage tools.

Otherwise get a 17mm half-inch drive socket on a twelve inch wobble extension and put a real breaker bar on it.

Sorry i guess i wasnt clear enough. I am talking about the four bolts behind the throw out bearing. The top one on the driver side is a PITA to get to. I can only get 1/8" turn out of it at a time.
