Sorry but i could not properly search.
Where under the foot well os the wiring located to connect the brake controller?
I decided to buy a camping trailer and want to use my Prodigy P3 off my truck.
I have 04 LC and have bought a connector from etrailer but having hard time locating the plug under the foot well. Is it more towards the left side wall? May be wrapped up with electric tape?
Thanks ahead to those that found it.

See post #5...

I'm not sure when Toyota went to the oem connector...my '01 LX doesn't have one.

Without one, you've got 4 wires to connect and you can get a mating connector for the Prodigy with the 4 wires crimped and installed in the connector. E trailer or any local place that does trailer wiring.

Wire color code...

White is ground. I crimp on a wire, insulate with adhesive coated heat-shrink. Other end of the wire crimped/insulated to a ring lug direct to battery - terminal.

Blue is brake output to the trailer connector. Crimped/insulated wire back to a 30A circuit breaker in the jack compartment, and then to the 7-pin female connector for trailer plug.

Black is 12 volt power to the brake controller. Same as white wire above, but connected to battery + terminal. Same breaker size, same place.

Red is for the stop light switch. Spliced to the brake switch output wire (green with white stripe). 10A breaker.

Don't go cheap on crimps...use solid or brazed seam stuff, NOT the cheap crap from your local AutoZone.

Do not think of touching ScotchLok (sp?) or similar stuff...you will need to mess with it later, almost guaranteed.:whoops::censor::bang:

Thanks guys.
My 04 has tow pack and has 7 pin on rear already.
I am trying to find where the white plug connects to. I spent some time upside down under the steering wheel but just don't see it yet.
I am pretty sure there is a connector there.
I am doing this because I am picking up a used adventure horizon this weekend and wanted to tow with my LC.
Will post pics and thanks for links. I will check them out.

Got it done just now. The wire is buldled along with the ignition wire cables.
I am using the ash tray area but its actually pretty loose fit with my P3. Will put some foam around so it stays put. One more thing, the light on P3 eventually goes off I hope as it seems to stay lit even when not connected to a trailer.
