I know how to search thru youtube thanks...

But I'm more interested in personal video of the folks here...
that have posted builds here... on this forum.

I wanted to see if any of them go beyond a KOA campground
And actually wheel what they built.

Fact is... I've followed many a build here...
and then... never see a follow up of it's use off road.

I'm starting to think... nobody actually does that

I *think* "LexusAllterrain" is a member here, though most of his trailer posts seem to be on Expo or 4Xtrips. Might search for his as he does use the trailer. I don't do video, but I have a similar trailer to his though I've only used it off road a couple of times. Mostly due to the tow rig getting an engine swap.

I will start posting when I park the MBT (modified) for a re-fit!

Mine are on here already, and will be adding one from Tierra Del Sol. Still have not seen it. Hope it turns out.

It is a good idea to see these in operation, Del's is a very capable trailer, very small and light. I would guess could go almost anywhere. Mine is designed to be a base trailer, but many have questioned it due to its size. It was built to withstand any trail, but width becomes a deciding factor on some trails. Mine would be able to do all but the squeeze one, but I doubt my FJ, having long travel and very wide tires and rims could even get through with out damage.

I look forward to any and all placed in this thread, it gives us knowledge of what works and what does not. Always be learning, my grandmother told me. When you stop, life getting better is pretty much over.

I didnt seem to have a problem with it being "too" top heavy last summer.

Early Fall I was losing my confidence at trailer towing and Incidents like in the picture below were happenning more than I would like to admit :meh:

Forgive me for looking "retarded"

You look more mystified... then retarded

tho' don't quote me on that !? :flipoff2:

sooo's... wut cha gonna do about 'dat situation ?

I am not gonna carry the 5000w diesel genie and Lincoln 140 welder in the back of the trailer unless I am staying on less off camber trails !

Wait, I love off camber! I think it is time to modify the canopy on the trailer , yet I weighed all the parts that went on to it and I came up with 85lbs including 1/4" plywood for the skin

I found an old 8mm video and converted to digital last night. My trailer when it was just a flat bed, I think about 15 years ago? 20? time flies. Built on a Subaru Wagon 2wd rear axle, the same axle/bearings/wheels eventually went with me on a trip from Alaska down to Washington D.C. and back, 15k miles on that one trip, and continues to do ATV/plywood hauling duty when I don't put the top back on it for camping/hauling kayaks etc.

The video is pretty fun, the trail pretty "knarly" :D

Those are springs on either side of the Lunette . It works like a surge brake. The P.O. had installed it, and I had been experimenting with different springs to get "it right" .

I will post a pic of the set-up very soon and more trailer towing vids.

Bummer? I must not make sense :D

The trailer never died, it evolved.....same underpinnings more junk on top.... - here it is year before last , it got all the stickers as we criss-crossed North America a decade ago (just getting to Seattle is 2000 mile drive :grinpimp:)

The camping box section comes off and I abuse it as a flatbed regularly.....

The tires are getting OOOoooold so I think I'm going to modify it for Toyota/Chev 6 hole pattern this year, throw some 235's on it and drag it off into the wilderness behind the Zuk (same one towing the trailer from the video, although it evolved too lol)
