I am not going to be able to come-sorry

I read this today on another forum. It is a post by one of the people who seems to be involved with allowing the rest of us with to get access to the property.

"Any organized event ( i would say 5 or more rigs) must notify the land rep, the town (troy) , the fish and game and the town police of when your event will take place."

Sounds to me like a lot of ducks to get in order to get access when our club and many other NEA clubs are the ones that cut the trails. I think it is great that we have access to a property like this. However, it sounds to me like the legal wheelers are being held to a higher standard than the yahoos who are causing the problems down there.

There must be a better way to allow us access for us while keeping the dumpers out. Has anyone looked into gates? They are not uncommon on other private properties.

I can't make it...I have a course exam on Saturday that was moved up from next weekend.

Sorry, I'm also out this time around. I will just keep picking up trash when I see it along the trails I run.

Man, I have been trying to get out of family duty this weekend to no avail....
sorry to say I can't make it

I just came into work and am now involved in a Priority Alpha repair. If we don't fix the problem this shift, then I am stuck here all night until 0700. Too bad so many have backed out of this clean-up, but right now, I give me a 40% chance of making it.

Looks Like a small group

I will be there and do what I can, if someone would like to show up last minute here's my # (617)806-6047.
A bad day in the woods is better than a good day @ work :D
I will be going in from the "logging/wood pile side" , Thanks again, Please join in for a good cause. :)

Thanks for putting this together Rick.
As stated earlier I have a lot of last minute wrenching/tweaking before my trip North but I will be in for the next one.

I don't know what the hell a Priority Alpha Repair is at a nuke plant but any mess from not doing it has to be worse than what is out on the trails.

Where are we going to meet?

Junior,

There are probably some tires down there and they aren't always free to get rid of. If there isn't a place to dump them for free, I can take them if you can get them to your house. I can pick them up this coming week. I'll take up to 10. It's free for me to throw them out one a week. They will sometimes take 4 and I can cut them in half and put a couple in my roadside barrel.

So, I'm an idiot

Checked my PM this morning, but not the main board. Showed up in Swanzey at 9am, no body's here, huh. Got on the board via the phone and, well $#!^
Drove around a little bit and filled two large trashed bags, some electronics and alot of Bud Lite containers. Investigated a couple of Class Sixes on the way home and found some fun stuff. Turned out to be a good morning anyways. Thanks Rick

This will be rescheduled

This was a test run, the next event will be through the NEA.
I actually had more requests through the NEA, but I'm a Yankee Toys guy and wanted to make this a group thing with us. People have busy lives and stuff doesn't always work out.
The NEA "Trail Clean Up" will still be available to Yankee Toys Members that want to help out. ;)

Thanks again Junior, :bounce2:

Sorry you got stood up. As usual, you were there to do the right thing. You are one of the best over the years supporting the club, doing trailcuts, etc.

What is about Bud Light? It seems to be the #1 beer of the yahoos who trash the tals and the class 6's.

PM'd you about a private run on private property tomorrow if you are interested.

Lighten up Francais, I didn't get stood up. I didn't read properly. Thanks for the Kudos, cuts and clean ups are actually a lot of fun.
Bud Light is now the #1 beer in America.
PM'd you back, thanks for the invite.
Thanks for trying Rick, check your voice mails, see you next time.

Jr.
