And the OT was sold :).

Just put a deposit down on a white overtrail coming to the dealer in about 6 weeks.

You're going to love it, great choice! You mentioned storage; I do suggest the Lexus crossbars. They are very well-made (they better be for $450) and wind noise is next to nothing (IMO), and you can toss a rooftop cargo box up there for those bigger trips.

I, too, have a family of 5, but it's very unusual that we are all in the same car at once. When we are, the 2nd row bench is ok for shorter trips, and the 3rd row with one side folded down still allows for a decent amount of storage.

There is one white OT here pictured on the thread about adding additional gas tank. I think he's a toyota gm and has 35s on his.
But has anyone actually successfully done this upgrade?

I will be in the USSR later this year and could look around but I think I have only seen a handful out and about. Plenty of 300s.

If there are wrecked 300s there, pulling some parts from salvage could work. The auxiliary tank is the same between LC and LX.

Right but how u going to fool the on-board computer? It's feasible mechanically but nannies may go off

No the nannies will not go off. I'll post my research findings soon.

Yeah I dont see that happening either.

There is ability to tune these but only through a couple companies.

Yep...that's why. Also, no ridiculous chin and the nameplate.
Nothings stopping us from ordering in the front clip body panels and retrofitting them onto the LX. Probably a $10k (parts only) endeavor though.

There is a guy in Australia that has complete rear clips off the 300. Was making utes. He is on here.

Maybe not as much now since they get the Tundra.

My Russkies tell me the LX600 good and 300 not so much.

Fenders, hood, bumper, and headlight swap. There might be some other small odds and ends I'm sure.
