If only it had a manual trans...

If your M3 had a manual trans, this would be a done deal for my 92K mile 1996 locked TLC that I use as a DD. I'll think about it, but I'm really looking for a manual M3 for road & track use. Good luck to you.

Here are 2 so-so pics from 2.5 years ago when I bought it. (Sorry, they're the only ones I have at-hand.) I've only put 11K miles on it since then, so it looks the same. I believe it's been dealer-serviced since new. The previous owner was related to the owner of one of the largest Toyota dealers in WI.

I'm still thinking about whether your M3's auto trans is an issue for me. Can you send pics & VIN # to m3esprit@att.net? Thanks.

Sure. But if you have a minute, still do e-mail me the pics & VIN # of your M3. If we decide to make the trade, I might consider meeting half-way in Denver.

I want my next vehicle to be a dual use road/track car. Thus, I'm still thinking about the auto trans option. I'm not really looking to sell my TLC, but I might consider it for the right situation. It just happens that I've decided to get more involved in the BMWCCA and this trade might be a good way to do so without much hassle.

ya know...

It's real easy to swap in a 5 spd into that e36... like a days worh of work... hardest part is sliding the pedal cluster in place...

If yours was a sedan....

Bump for a nice ride! A buddy's M3 is one of the nicest overall driving cars I have ever driven.

I am in the midst of a personal debate get the car I want M5 or M3 I want or something more practical as I will be driving between Portland and Seattle once or twice a week.
