Bought replacement rims from a Tundra. The 75157 rims. Came with the pressure sensors. Tried the software but couldn't get the codes to reset. Wife is tired of seeing the code and told me to just get it fixed. Discount Tire tells me the Tundra sensors can't be read by a Landcruiser. In all my research I never ran across this compatibility issue. Is this true?

Thanks

The sensors that came with my tundra rock warriors would not work with the lx570 and my originals had to be transferred over also.

Well bummer. Can you copy the code from the original sensors to a new set? Basically have two sensors with the same code so the rim that is on the car is what is picked up?

yes, that is doable from what I have heard on here but you need aftermarket sensors that are clone sensors that can be programmed with your original sensors codes. The tundra ones you have cannot be coded to match your LC ones.

Thanks for the response. I have the codes from the original sensors now I'll see if my local guys will do cloned sensors. Maybe I can sell the Tundra sensors.

I have a set of wheels for my snow tires that have EZ-sensor brand programmable TPMS sensors installed.

Discount Tire scanned the original codes of the four (4) Toyota sensors in my 2015 LC wheels and programmed four (4) Schrader EZ-sensor with the same codes for my winter wheels in less than 10 min.

When I switch to my winter wheels/tires, the TPMS system in my 2015 LC does not know the difference between the different wheels. Ditto when I take the winter wheels/tires off and put the non-winter wheels/tires on the vehicle.

Oh that's the ticket then. Awesome to here the solution is available and simple!

Same experience here. Tundra tpms not compatible with LC system. Put in stick LC tpms and good to go

I may buy a set of wheels/tires from a wrangler that have newer Tpms sensors in them, not sure of the type….I plan to ditch the wheels but put the tires on my set of rock warriors and was wondering if the Tpms sensors could also be used for my 2015 LX?

I know nothing about these sensors so not sure how compatible different types are or if it’s pretty universal. Thank u!

No chance in france.
