I want to introduce myself to the forum.

I operate a exotic vehicle consultancy based in Santa Cruz de Tenerife Spain specializing in classic 4x4 Toyotas. Low milage, minimal oxidation, left hand drive, manual diesels - 40s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 4runners and hilux. We source and ship parts also.

The heart of our business is aligning private local sellers with private buyers worldwide allowing great saving and transparency in transactions. Our services include sourcing, exporting, forwarding and importation. Tenerife has a major seaport with weekly RoRo service and daily container ships. Costs are similar to mainland Europe because of the proximity to a major seaport and may take a week or two longer in transit.

Please visit our website at canaryislandrover.com and contact us if you are interested in authentic unicorns or the Canary Island equivalent, second to no other market in quality and availability. Work with local insiders and have the confidence and support for successful international trade. We make this easy and enjoyable ;)

PEACE,
Adam

Would curious too. I know Europe got BJ45 verses HJ45/47. Personally have very little interest in a SWB unless a LX model which do not believe were common in Spain. Believe Spain got some of what we refer to as that poverty model which in some cases included a three speed to the eighties. Same with the LWB with a four cylinder diesel. What does interest me in mid wheel base.

@RAGINGMATT - Have a look at www.canaryislandrover.com
Lots of pictures and information.

Also have a look at our Instagram for a variety of street pics and everyday classic 4x4s around the islands to give yall a scope of the off road culture.

@Living in the Past - Canary Islands have long had a Toyota dealership dating back to the early 1970s when the first BJ40s and HJ45s arrived to work the plantations. The 80s and 90s were good times in Spain, and luxury models were introduced such as LX, GX and VX models, which all sold very well in the Canary Islands. By that time, the local Land Cruiser market had shifted from a working vehicle to more of a sport vehicle, replaced mainly by the Hilux and HZJ70 series pickups.

Our focus is one owner, survivor and restored vehicles - Toyota, Mercedes and Land Rover.
