X2 I would still prefer one of these to a V8 model

So would a lot of fellas that sold their turbo 6 7x series for a vdj

but any one that has up graded from a say hzj75 NA are more than happy

i dont really like the fact that the vdjs are a 2 stroke diesel motor though;)

but with a 3" zaust v8 note and turbo whisle cant sound much better

Where did you hear that? I think you maybe confusing that with the 2 stage injection which most modern diesels seem to run these days.
Two stroke diesels are a very old design and nearly always have superchargers fitted to them.
I dont think any vehicles have used them since the 50s and they were old trucks and tractors

one of my mates has a old school semi 2 stroke diesel truck but as for the vdj cruisers
haha nah im not confused just joke about it because some of them seem to burn so much oil its like running a 2 stroke dirt bike have one jerry can of fuel and one of oil:D

Thats only for the 1st 20000 klms or so then the oil usage tapers off.
Well documented on 70scool and 4wdaction forums;)
Some early owners were having heart attacks thinking it would go on forever:D

Yea i guess it was kind of like when Aus started using LS1 chevs in the commodores and they were started of being oil burners
