Hi guys - wondering If I should go OEM M/C at $362 or Beck Arnley at $155. I don't trust rebuilds so both these choices are new. I always feel better about Toyota parts but the price difference is staggering - just wondering if anything makes the toyota brake cylinder twice as good (or even 1.5 times as good)
:hhmm:

Thanks Chukar, but I need the cylinder five minutes ago and my 2 choices are what I listed above. I did a quick search and some people have found Aisin M/C's is Beck Arnley boxes - these were on older threads so I'm wondering if anyone's bought the Arnleys lately and found them to actually be OEM or are they now manufacturing their own??

price the 80 series toy non ABS master at Napa or the dealer and see what you come up with. Tell the dealer you can get it elsewhere for cheaper, maybe they will drop the price. how about pulling one out of a wrecking yard?

i ordered one for the old brick at carquest. opened the box and it was an aisan. :)

buy new..

Period.

Without disk brakes in the rear, there is no reason to upgrade your master.

Rock and Roll! Got the Beck Arnley and it was a repackaged Aisin. :bounce:

will that mc fit a 83 fj60?

The 80 series master will fit, but if you have not done a rear disk brake conversion it is not necessary..
