Toyota Land Cruiser 2003

I forgot to mention that this Land Cruiser is in the Portland Oregon area

The torque converter went out. It was professionally rebuilt and has a 3 year warranty.

I've never heard of any issues from the A750 transmissions. Strange. Was it repaired by a trans shop or dealer? Any failure analysis done to see what the root cause was? Best of luck with the sale.

The warranty is transferrable. It is from a reputable transmission shop - Lake Oswego Transmission. The cause was a bad torque converter. While they were in there working, they bebuilt the transmission and gave us a 3 year warranty. They used the Toyota transmission upgrade kit which icluded all new seals.
