Hey guys, bought myself a Toyota factory snorkel (70series) kit from a guy here in edmonton who imports the parts and builds the kits... Anyone have any experience installing em? templates for cutting holes etc...?? Any info would be greatly appreciated.. kind of flying blind into this install without any instructions available. Thanks!! I should mention i have a 1992 73 series with the 1HZ

Trick is to back yourself, you are drilling into your own car, measure, check, measure and double check, there no one to blame other than yourself if you $&:/ it up
I installed mine without a template, started by having the air cleaner intake ready to take snorkel adaptor( depending on what type you will use) , and measured from there, just gradually check everything prior to attacking with drill.

I found using a drill powered nibbler on fender very good to get the rectangle cut required for the plate to fit snug against fender and the snorkel itself. Good luck,

A couple of shots of bourbon helps also. :)

There is no template. The "correct" fender comes cut out for the application.

Just tell everyone that the extra holes are for enhanced engine cooling.
