Do those Toyota/Winebago campers with the dual rear wheels have full floating rear axles, it looks kind of like they do but I've never had a good look at one? TIA

Yes and no.

IIRC FFA duals came out in 87 or 88. Early vehicles has SF axles that had oddball wheels that bolted togther. The true dual wheel FFA's are a similar set-up to the rear FFA in the 80 series. At one time Toyota offered complete rear axles to the coach builders to retro-fit into SFA trucks. It seems that the coach builders sort of "overshot" the weight on some conversions and axles were breaking. It was not Toyota's responsibility but they chipped in by supplying the axles at a reduced price to the coach builders who in turn installed them.

Thanks for info CDan, I noticed an early 80's Toyota babybago parts truck with the dually rear end for sale near me; if it had the fullfloater I thaught it might be worth picking up.
