Has anyone considered modifying one of these as a gauge pod to be mounted on the dash of an 80? I'm looking for a mounting solution for my gauges. already have the A pillar mount for my EGT and Coolant temp gauge. I need to find a place to mount my Boost, A/F Ratio, and Trans. Temp. A three gauge pod that mounted on the dash MAY make for a clean install. Any ideas????

I mounted my guages on the A pillar. Works really well. I'm not too sure how useful the inclinometers are but they look good.

I already have the A pillar pod and it is full, two gauges. I need to find a way to mount three more gauges. My thought is to use just the gauge housing. Get rid of the altimeter/inclinometer, paint the plastic face with flat black paint and mount my other three gauges. I am just wondering how the contour of the housing would sit on the 80 series dash. Maybe I just need to be the first to find out.

Pm veggie80 he put in a 3 gauge pod that fits down under the radio. I think it was from summit.
thanks
