For Sale Toyota 1969 F Engine - Costa Mesa CA

I have a 1969 Toyota F Engine that I was in the process of rebuilding as a backup for my current rig. I am moving and selling my rig so no longer need the back up engine. Engine is still in part stage but I do have the engine gasket rebuild kit. Rings were replaced. Sold as is. Head is good. Needs new oil pan. Existing oil pan has been modified and may not be good but I do have it. Comes with exhaust manifold not pictured. Do not have carb for this engine. Cylinders were honed. Pistons are good shape. Looking for $300. Will throw in engine stand.

Oops. It was a F engine not a 2F. The cylinder head came with it but not attached. I assumed the head was the original. The guy who sold it to me had it in the back of his garage and said he pulled it out of his old rig when he upgraded to a larger engine. I do know the cylinder head is different than a 72 F. That is what is my current rig.

Your head is from a F135 or earlier not a F145 which would be in a 69. What is the serial number on the engine?

This is dirt cheap for an early engine with work done to it. Exhaust manifold is almost worth that. GLWS
