Looking for a change and thought about the Toyo option...was looking for 285/70 but... any issues running LT285/75R18 on factory / heritage / tundra wheels +60 besides plastic trimming? 285/75 seems to be the narrowest of the 3 sizes.

I have Nitto Terra Grapplers in 285/75r18 on TRD Tundra wheels (the old style). I used 1" bora spacers (not sure if they'd fit without the spacers, and would definitely rub more) and had to move the front wheel liner forward about an inch, remove the front mudflap and bend back the little metal tab that holds it, trim the leading edge of the rocker panel plastic, and heat gun the wheel arch liner for clearance. All in all about an hour or two of work and no lift required.

Mine is a Lexus, which means fitting large tires is a bit easier than a Toyota. You may also need a KDSS relocation bracket.

Thanks for that research @mcgaskins

That thread was great help to me when I bought my 200 - went with 34's and very content with the decision, on my 2nd set

I followed his advice as well even though in the back of my mind was that eager little voice telling me to go with 35's lol. I am very happy with the 285/75/17's and I don't plan on going any bigger anytime soon if ever. They are the perfect balance for these trucks, big enough to look modified and provide added ground clearance but not so big that you have to change eight other things in order to fit and justify them haha.
