Can't. Got to make it work with the 200.

It's one or the other then. Even a 40 and a light weight trailer is going to max out that 200. A 40 with some add-ons will go close to 5500lbs leaving only 2k for trailer and gear. Finding a good quality trailer with light weight construction is going to keep you busy for a while.

I wish but just can't justify it until after I get a shop.

Lash towed his truck up to the Crawl with his. It was squatted badly. If you plan on towing with it, look into airbags for the rear.

I think a lot of the towing of #8500 is a bit low for this engine/tranny combo if you put the airbags and brakes on the truck. The Tundra is the same truck, albeit lighter, with a 10,400 capacity. It is not 2000# lighter.....

Not sure if the TLC has the monster rear axle the Tundra has so that may be another reason the tow rating is lower.

If you spent the jack on a custom 22' aluminum trailer with 7000# axles and dual brakes and bagged the TLC you could make that load your bitch.

E had a nice trailer for sale. Not sure if he still has it or not.

Minesez is gone. It was an awesome, awesome, awesome trailer. Prolly gonna get one just like it next go 'round. Just couldn't justify it sitting in a field untouched for the next year... rotting tires.
It would only hold a single rig though, even though it was a 10k lb trailer....

The Tundra has an "integrated" hitch that makes it's rating higher...
Even with the Tundra I wouldn't think about towing again without a load distribution hitch like I had.... LDH makes towing ANYTHING a breeze. Spend the cheddar on one and keep on rolling.... That 200 will tow.

Been borrowing this trailer for two days working on my houses. It's got 3500lbs axles with brakes on both axles. Friend got it for a grand.

I'm gonna go ahead and call BS on those being 5K axles. I've built a few trailers in my time and have never seen a 5 lug axle over 3500lbs capacity.

huh?! you selling this for 1K?!
Damn! Why?!

That 20' is definitely a steal. It's got the good axles! and hub caps!

Here's my junk towing a heavy 80... and the load distribution hitch making my leveled truck stay leveled...

I just assumed it had hubcaps? Cause them little tiny centers can't even be 3500/lb trailer hubs... you think?

Good eye Bossman.

5 lug = 3500

6 lug = 5200

8 lug = 7000 +

Rule of thumb but 95% accurate

I am gonna raise you,
This is about 99.9% true.

ask dude if those are hubcaps before moving on... They may be hiding 6 lugs and greasable hubs. They sure look like 16" hubcaps to me.

Anybody have any info on Silverado/Sierra 1500HD? I just wonder what they don't have that a 2500 does? I guess diesel is the big thing. I am looking for a truck with a 6.0 and the 4L80E and the 1500HD seems to fit the ticket.

I'm not sure they make that anymore but that is what it was.

1/2 ton with 3/4 ton drivetrain.

I think rear axle is a SF 14 or some GM version of that.
