My tow rig got new shoes and laces last night.... put'em on about an hour ago.
They 18's but i keep'em clean.

them is 33" BFG AT's. Not too much bigger than what was on it actually. So towing shouldn't be altered.

Anyone have a spare 8 lug trailer tire/wheel? I would like to take a spare spare on the trip.

I bought the last few on a deal for me and Leonard. Paid about $145 for the tires. They are now running $175 each.

Yep it's stupid. They are 14ply radials though. Bomar is right about price increase.

He can get you a 8 lug modular silver, 16" rim, Load range E import radial tire (235/80-16), for $175. It will be a drop shop from his supplier. Same one as the picture.

I bought a gallon of Pennzoil full syn. 2 cycle oil (for boat motor) to add to my diesel.

Going to add 1 oz per gallon.

I figure it can't hurt. I think more vp44 are failing now due to ultra low sulfur fuel.
The local International dealer where I got my vp44 said they sold 2 more last week.

I add 16oz of the Super tech (wal mart) 2 cycle outboard oil to mine on every fill up. Lot's of people are doing it on the Cummins forum. I'll try to find the specs on the 20 additive test they did a few years ago. Super Tech came in 7th!

I am not buying a tire/rim. I have about 12 of them between my other trailers here, I was just wondering if anyone has a spare setup around town so I would not have to immobilize another trailer.

Damn, don't think even the Excursion has the ass the pull that trailer and a 40 & 80. Bet even if it did I'd go the brake rotors like Reece's Cups.
Wish it did..

Ask him how heavy it is? You can see the Tongue wraps all the way to the tires. Bolt on hitch means you can put a Pendleton hitch on it.......this adds up to........heavy!
