Does Remove leafs and rely on the air bags to support.

Or

Does it help support additional weight in addition to leafs

I'm assuming latter.

Looks cool regardless.

Thanks Cody Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD

Was researching that exhaust brake system on the 6.7 PK and I think we were looking at it right at the turbo. Found this clip on a RV forum couldn't track down the source on the Cummins website.

This is from the Cummins home page on the operation of the VGT, and I quote "The Cummins 6.7L Turbo Diesel continues to offer the most powerful integrated exhaust brake available in a heavy duty truck. Cummins best-in-class integrated exhaust brake, with a full 225 braking horsepower at the wheel, gives Ram Heavy Duty pickup customers more confidence while towing the heaviest loads down the most severe grades. Cummins proprietary sliding nozzle Variable Geometry (VG) Turbocharger is used as the integrated exhaust brake, making this unique capability standard on every Cummins 6.7L Turbo Diesel. Utilizing the VG turbocharger, the exhaust brake significantly improves control when towing heavy loads, such as pulling RV fifth wheels and horse trailers, providing added vehicle control and vehicle brake savings by using the engine for braking power. This extends the vehicle brake life, resulting in reduced total cost of ownership. "

The only supplier of the sliding-vane-type of variable-geometry turbocharger is Cummins Turbo Technologies (Holset) which is in effect the sole supplier of variable-geometry turbochargers for applications involving large engines and heavy-duty use (i.e., trucks and off-highway applications).

That's nice John your going to enjoy that  You can never get enough of those mpg's so what size are you running on it now? I lost a mpg or so going from the factory 265 to the 285 :frown:.

Mpg... What's that? Haha

I get 15-17 towing the truggy and the steel kerney car hauler. But I drive like a grandma and the programmer and correlating mods help ALOT.

I went from 285's to 245's and my sweet spot is 62-65mph so once I get to 70mph it drops off.

Pulling the trailer, I got around 16mpg @ 70mph.
