Total Chaos vs Slee UCA's

I was at Christo's shop on Thursday getting these put on and getting an alignment. If anybody wants pics of the installed arms let me know.

My seat-of-the-pants evaluation is that the LC feels more stable at highway speeds now. With the stock UCAs, the steering at highway speeds always felt a bit "twitchy" to me. On the 2-hour ride home Thursday the ride felt more stable. So far that is all that I can offer for feedback.

If I am looking at this right these are my settings. I am an alignment idiot but is it odd for there to be that much of a difference between sides?

Passenger side:

In for caster # and hub to fender measurement.

Drivers side hub to fender: 21.25"
Passenger side hub to fender: 21.5"

BH, thanks! Did they happen to give you a printout of the post alignment specs? Please let us know if the ball joints slip out of place. Personally, I'd retorque the balljoint after a few hundred miles to the specified 150 ft-lbs.

They do not appear to be tack welded.

I ask for one after every alignment for my maintenance records and for some reason I didn't ask this time. I'll call Slee tomorrow and see if they have something saved. Doubt it but can't hurt to ask.

What does that mean? If you want to buy them, buy them. The uniball style uppers have been discussed at length in multiple threads. Read about them then figure out what will be best. So far I think one guy has the Slee arms so the feedback is very limited on them. Good luck.

Slee Offroad doesn't make UCA's, he sells them. SPC makes them. They're a popular brand on the racing scene, both dirt and asphalt. Located in Longmont, CO.

Yes, Slee's fitted here up in Canada. Too much negative noise around the uniball design and i want something that is maintenance free and gives easy alignment to factory spec with a 2.5 inch lift. Easy to install, great design and once mounted and aligned, should cause a problem.

I took my 100 into the local Toyota dealer today to have the SPC UCA's installed and alignment done. (left it so I could go to work; considering this should be fairly simple work for an alignment tech).

6 hrs later-
They just lowered the TB's, realigned my front and said I didn't need UCA's....

You guys within driving distance of Golden, CO consider yourselves fortunate.

I will be driving home with 1 additional inch of rake tonight!

I wouldn't trust them to change my oil. If you need help changing anything on your 100 let me know. I put my upper control arms in and adjusted my tbars.
