(Is that steer or stear?) Anyhow, I was driving an 80 last week that I was thinking about buying but among other things bad about it it had a very noticable torque to the left when accelerating. Upon inspection the left birf was in poor shape, i.e. leaking and clicking, and I was wondering if anyone alse had noticed this happening to one of your LC's. My sons doesn't that's why it was so noticeable to me on this vehicle. Really bad birf maybe?

It could also be a caliper hanging up.

My rig will do that on deep downshifts.

Or perhaps really bad wheel bearing?

If it's under acceleration, I'd suspect the trunion/kingpin/steering knuckle (same item diff names) are worn, allowing the hub to shift under accel. Might also notice it wander a bit on braking.
