Took kit missing. Can you buy just the spare tire lowering crank? (1 Viewer)

Lucky I figured out the tool bag is missing before I needed it. I see on the board the kits are really expensive. Wonder if the spare tire crank is available separately? Is there a non Toyota alternative? And is there a way to lower the spare without the crank? Thanks for your help!

Just searched toyota spare tire tool on ebay, several off brand tire crank tools that look like they'd work, $20ish.

I bought the jack tools for mine from PartSouq. I think it cost me about $45 or so all together. They were far cheaper than anyone else I could find.

Check the parting out section of the classifieds. Should be able to find one no problem.

I have an fj62 and the spare tire crank tool is almost identical. So you can probably use one from a 60, 80, or 100

Mine was missing when I bought my 100 as well, luckily the bottle jack was still there, but nothing else. I got the crank pieces from a dealer, for a decent deal, don't remember the exact price, but it wasnt bad at all. good luck.
