First i must admit than i'm a serious rookie when it comes to offroading. When I was 16 and looking for my first car i only had 4 grand to spend. I fell in love with an old green fj40 but the guy was asking $6500 and was firm on his price, so i settled for a 87 Renault GTA. Don't get me wrong that car gave me 8 great years for little more than the cost of gas every 2 weeks. But tonight i took the FJ out behind some residential developement where i actually got tossed around pretty good, i had an absolute blast! Yet i was a bit disappointed that there was no mud anywhere, i just want to get the damn thing dirty. Anyway just thought i would share my meager experience with all you hardcore 4x4ers. Just so you all know i'm hooked!
