Howdy all,

I'm beginning to wonder if the new Nitrocharger Plus struts I just installed caused the lift to be excessive in the front. It seems higher than I was expecting. The rear 2721's were about what I thought they'd be, but the 4010s with the adjustable front struts appear to have pushed the front about half an inch higher than the rear.

Can anyone get me the center of hub to fender measurement and let me know what kit you bought? I've got an ARB front bumper and some aluminum skids, and I'm sitting at 23.5". I don't remember what factory was to be honest, and I forgot to check before the install. My biggest concern is I'm going to nuke the CVs by running them at a crazy angle, but I'm also not loving being taller in front than in the rear. I was aiming for about a 1 inch rake, lower in front than rear.

All this being said, I am planning on adding a winch as well, so maybe this is a great excuse to buy it? Or maybe a different set of springs either front or rear?

I did get the 2" kit from @sleeoffroad

Minor update: I was looking through the ARB catalog, and they note the 4010 springs for their "high lift" kit, and the 4019 springs for the "low lift" kit. It looks like the 4019s are the same rate as the 4010s but a little shorter, which would make sense.

Slee's site is selling both kits with the 4010 springs. Maybe this is an error and they are selling 3" springs with the 2" kit?

Sounds like a call to them would be a good next move.

Yep, that's better.

Update: after talking with Slee, apparently the spring seat is reversible on the Nitrocharger Plus shock, so it appears I simply installed the seat upside down.

Whoops.
My man. This is exactly the learning process I follow. You turn every wrench twice as much, but you never forget the lesson.

Ha, no kidding. Funny thing is they can be run either way, so if you have a bunch of weight up front they can compensate.

In case anyone is wondering. The one on the left provides a reasonable amount of lift. The one on the right, less so.

That was a very good decision.
