Buyer was a no go...and I already removed the rack. She's back up for sale now at $11,500

98' Lexus 470 with 1825xx miles
Brake master replaced by a prior owner.
Removal of ACH system (installed Toyota pocket in place of adjustment switch).
Old man Emu lift under 5k miles on the swap (torsion bars up front, heavy springs in back).
Dual swing out rear bumper (driver-side ladder and Jerry can, passenger is a full/over sized tire).
Rear (3rd row) climate.
Replaced double din stereo/head unit (bluetooth, MP3, DVD with switch for viewing while in motion, USB input, 3.5mm jack input).
HID fog lights.
Trail Taylor rock sliders (bolt on units, can be welded).
18"wheels with Firestone tires that include transferable warranty.
Full size spare with BRAND NEW Firestone meat to match.
Timing belt, water pump, accessory belts and oil change under 500 miles ago.
Front leather seats are probably the best seats you'll find ANYWHERE that haven not been replaced/recovered.
If I remember from the last time I drove it, I'm somewhere around 182,400 miles.
Trailer/towing package.
This truck has never been outside of Colorado.
Storage box in back (Police SUV edition) and Yakima spare tire bike rack (if pictured) will stay with me unless you make a suitable offer.

What doesn't work:
Tilt steering motor went out (apparently common in the Lexus 100).
Primary radio antenna is stuck in the down position. The motor runs on start up and when you turn the truck off (you still get reception with the secondary window mounted antenna). Prior owner clipped the passenger side mirror on something and the shell has some repaired cracking.

That's my full disclosure...not too shabby!

This rig has gone ALL OVER CO with my daughter and I for camping trips. Previous owner had a run-in with a garbage can in his underground parking garage (passenger rear view mirror has cracks and a front passenger wheel well abrasion).

I've never left a rig in a condition worse than I found it...This one would be a show pony of that point. I also have NOT listed it anywhere else other than the local club site. If and when I do, I will have it detailed including a color buff (she's the dark green option).

This is the truck I wish I could have grabbed when I lived in MN. I had to move 950 miles away from "home" to find a truck that wasn't riddled with rust.
You'll love this rig!"

My Wife said my trucks are too big for her. I sent her this pic on the 24th...yes, those H2 shackles are in plastic!

Sorry about the leaves and dirt in the pics...this was all kind of spur of the moment (she'll be cleaned up shortly). Also, thank you all so much for the responses, apparently this is the right time to be a seller!

Well damn is right. PM sent for interest from another backup party.

First buyer may not be in the picture, moving on to the individual here in Windsor (Cayenne) and then The Colorado Kid down in the springs...Austin TX (Longhorn Mudder) your up after that and then a few that came in today from another site.

I also now have pics of the under carriage for those that want them...prepare yourself to see what chemicals do to our roads compared to salt...it's impressive!

Based on the first commitment, I was to send him some pics of the under carriage. I fought my instincts and went to the self wash this morning (9 degrees above zero at 8am) and rinsed off the nice layer of caked mud protection I had on her. The only rust you'll see is service on the exhaust which is the second unit this truck has had since new...she's in EXCELLENT condition under there.

Took a look at @White wings rig this morning... I'm going to pass, as I'm really looking for either a lower mile 100 or a 80 series, but I was very tempted. Interior is in great shape and it's a very solid rig. No noises, no leaks, and handles great. The buyer will not be disappointed!

Thanks for stopping by this morning, you guys were great, sorry I didn't offer you a beverage... Test drives get water, buyers get a beer!

I will also be replacing the interior shots above with new pics. I just vacuumed it out and pulled all of my personal stuff out as well.

Buyer was a no go...and I already removed the rack.

Asking price now reduced to $11500 with no rack (rack is still available).

Based on another interested party, the brake mast was replaced (I guess that's an expensive repair...ouch).

Just wanted to update the thread...any other questions that will make this a more valuable find?
